HAGL offers banana-fed pigs as safe, high-quality products that meet VIETG.A.P standards and strictly comply with good husbandry practices at pig farms. We are committed to clear and transparent traceability. In the event of any after-sales quality issues, HAGL is ready to cooperate with customers to resolve them promptly.
Hoang Anh Gia Lai Group's banana farms cover over 7,000 hectares across Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, with 100% of the produce exported to markets such as Japan, Korea, and China. Bananas that do not meet weight or shape standards will be preliminarily processed and used as key ingredients in pig feed or fed directly to the pigs. Each year, the amount of waste bananas allows HAGL to be proactive in material supply. Banana-fed pigs are raised on clean, toxin-free food, resulting in meat that is fragrant, delicious, sweet, and rich in nutrients.
The hygienic and nutrient-rich ingredients in bananas, such as digestible carbohydrates, vitamins K and C, fiber, etc., serve as the main components of a high-density feed formula. This formula avoids the use of animal protein and antibiotics, instead relying on microorganisms and herbs to control intestinal diseases, stimulate digestion, and boost the pigs' appetite. As a result, the pigs experience rapid growth, and the meat produced is clean, naturally flavorful, tender, flexible, delicately aromatic, and low in fat. Consumers are currently highly interested in HAGL's banana-fed pigs.
By combining banana farming with pig raising, HAGL achieves significant cost savings. This model not only allows the group to efficiently utilize raw materials but also produces high-quality products at competitive prices. The selling price of HAGL's superior live pigs products remains comparable to the general market price, offering better value compared to competitors.
HAGL pigs are raised in a closed process with bananas grown for export as their primary food source, adhering to the "three no's" standard: no antibiotics, no banned substances, and no animal-based protein. Natural herbs are used in place of antibiotics, promoting warmth, digestive health, and appetite, ensuring full nutrient absorption, and enhancing the pigs' natural resistance to diseases. Plant-based proteins such as soybeans and corn, supplemented with imported micronutrients, replace animal protein. To protect consumer health, HAGL pig feed is free from weight gain substances preferring instead safe plant-based materials. Lean tending cross-bred pig yields ample leaned pork.
